Students need to be aware of the marketable skills affiliated with their programs. Having a substantial portion of Texas completers who remain in the state and are employed or who are pursuing additional education after completing a credential is important for the state’s future.
To ensure improvement throughout the plan years, Texas set statewide benchmarks of 80 percent for 2020, 2025 and 2030.
